Food at its best Service unfortunately not capable of criticism, it was a shame even cheeky ....

Here there are the normal, "typically Greek" dishes and a changing daily menu. Mostly consisting of fish dishes. The service is hard-working and mostly very friendly. When we were there, a lot of guests came and there were only 2 waiters who couldn't really keep up. Conclusion: You get what you expect from a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately not more but luckily not less either.

We were at Artemis Essen on August 15, 2020. We were received ❤️. To eat we ordered the grill plates for 2 or more people. Price 37 euros. First there was the farmer's salad with tzatziki. The tzatziki was really tasty. The salad was very well dressed and tasted great. Then the grill plate was delivered. The plates that came with it were even preheated?. The liver was very good. The suflaki were very juicy and flavorful with fresh herbs. The Suzuki are prepared with fresh mint and were very juicy and tasted very good. The gyros was very good too. All in all, we were delighted with the very good food. The hospitality in the restaurant is also very good. We drank very good ouzo and we will definitely be back. A very nice, clean and cozy restaurant. The food was delicious. Very friendly and courteous staff. Even in these very difficult times, this restaurant deserves a visit. We will be back definitely.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical at first (after this was again a recommendation from unknown people unbek), but I was pleasantly surprised even before the order was placed. We were warmly welcomed (with a reasonable and prescribed distance) and the order was very friendly and provided with daily recommendations. Something I've only known from higher-priced restaurants (the poor competition that has to be measured against you ?). The food also inspired me and all those present. It not only looked great, it also tasted great. General and summarized: I would love to come back. It tastes, looks great, is clean and in a pleasant atmosphere.

We are usually not fans of Greek food as we have often had bad experiences. The meat was often too dry and the side dishes were bland and mushy. Not so with Artemis. We wanted to give Greek food a try again and were not disappointed although we generally have high expectations when we eat out. The menu is modern and clear and you don't have the feeling of ordering from a typical Greek snack bar. Gyros and suflaki were tender and juicy, not dry at all. The side dishes (french fries and rice) freshly and super seasoned. The side salad was crisp and refined, Zaziki tasted creamy and homemade. The hot sauce was very hot and could perhaps be served extra. The portion is absolutely fair for the price. We ordered by phone and were able to pick up on time by arrangement. Card payment was no problem. We will definitely order there again and are happy that the Greek cuisine was able to convince us.

Visited on a Saturday evening with a reservation. The restaurant was very well attended without a reservation you would not have been able to get a seat. However, you sit very close to each other because the restaurant is very close to the tables Not much to say because what is important here is the really good service, who cares very much and the kitchen, we ate well and the price / performance ratio was good. The boss also tried very hard and took care of the wine advice here Bring some experience myself. I don't want to say more on this topic. We had a nice evening u so we will definitely stop here several times.

We were at Artemis for the first time yesterday and certainly not the last time. Best gyros in a long time and a friendly, attentive service! When we are back in Hanover, we know where to eat well!

The food was very tasty. Even if the plate looked clear enough, it was quite sufficient. The Artemis was well attended and unfortunately overheated overall, meaning it was too warm. 4 stars are appropriate here.

Friendly. Good taste and price. Nice arranged plate. Aperitif free house. Despite low operation long wait and food unfortunately only lukewarm.

The food is delicious

Very nice atmosphere and advice, where you immediately feel welcome. Always new, seasonal offers on the menu, which in our view clearly in quality and taste of other Greek restaurants stands out. Therefore, we have family-wise decided to appoint the Artemis to our favorite Greek. This seems to be true for many other guests, as one should remember to reserve a table.

I have never been to a restaurant with such friendly service. Very family atmosphere and great selection on the menu. The food was also delicious. We would love to come back!
